We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Information Technology Assistant to join our dynamic
team to provide technical support on the network and security of infrastructure in the mall

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software,
and networks.
• Provide first-line technical support to employees, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network
problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network vendors on
network optimization. This includes setting up LAN and WAN networks, Voice Over IP,
VPNs, and other network links, including analytics platforms, financial systems, and
communication systems (SMS and Email).
• Manage group network security-related projects and ensure incidents, problems, and
escalations are dealt with according to a defined set of policies, processes, procedures, and
SLAs.
• Work with vendors to research emerging technologies, diagnose, and resolve network
problems by developing workarounds for hardware and software bugs where applicable.
• Utilize tools to monitor the network to ensure optimum performance and troubleshoot issues,
ensuring service availability and reliability at 99.9%.
• Manage and deliver IT projects within the allocated time and budget, aligning network
projects with the company strategy to enhance reach, competitiveness, and profitability.
• Provide user support and troubleshoot reported problems within the scope of the network and
security infrastructure.
• Manage change requests through established procedures, booking, scheduling, and executing
approved changes to the network.
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring
access.
• Report on network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information on service
availability and reliability.
• Design, implement, and manage disaster recovery, business continuity plans, and backups.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of IT.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network installation techniques, especially
Huawei devices is highly desirable. Exceptional ability to provide network support and
resolve errors.
• Good understanding of the retail Industry and how Information Technology contributes to the
success of retail business.
• ITIL Service Level Management certification is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud computing is highly desirable but not mandatory.
