KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pre, production and post production of various genres of multi-platform, multi-camera shows
  • Interaction and management of studio guests including high-profile personalities
  • Preparing and producing on-location crews for live events
  • Management and enhancement of allocated programme slot(s)
  • Timely delivery of assigned programs
  • Managing production talent and crew
  • Developing content for programme promos
  • Executing client driven productions
  • Conceptualizing and executing creative fresh ideas
  • Adherence to the company’s editorial principles and guidelines

Skills and Personal attribute

  • Current affairs awareness
  • General knowledge of editorial ethics code and practice
  • Excellent skills to produce and direct shows of different genres.
  • Outstanding creative and organizational skills
  • A flexible person, able to work under pressure
  • A meticulous planner, pays attention to detail
  • Good communicator with great writing and presentation skills
  • Good in execution and in follow up
  • Able to make quick and well-thought-out decisions
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Swahili

Academic and professional experience

  • University Graduate – Communication/TV production with relevant practical experience
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in content production process
  • Post-production skills. Proficiency in Final Cut and After Effects will be an added advantage.
