• Bytronics Computers Ltd, a company dealing with weighing scales and systems has a position of a Business Development Officer (BDO)  to be responsible for driving the growth of the  organization by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and maintaining partnerships. The  role shall  combine sales, marketing, strategic analysis, and relationship management.  The offices are located at BYTRONICS CENTRE, Olkeri-Ngong.

Key Responsibilities:
Identifying Opportunities:

  • Researching and analyzing market trends and potential customers.
  • Identifying potential business opportunities and partnerships.

Relationship Building:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Networking to promote the organization and its offerings.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Creating strategies to increase revenue and market presence.
  • Developing and pitching proposals to prospective clients.
  • Meeting sales targets and KPIs.

Strategic Planning:

  • Developing business plans and strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Conducting competitive analysis to ensure the organization remains competitive.

Client Management:

  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Resolving client issues promptly and effectively.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Preparing detailed reports on business performance.
  • Analyzing data to forecast business trends and inform strategies.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field. (A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.)

Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Ability to learn and understand technical products and explain the functions to customers.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Ability to use digital marketing, social media etc as marketing tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Personal Traits:

  • Results-driven and proactive.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel for business meetings and events.
