Procurement Lead

 

We are looking to hire a Procurement Lead. This position will be based in Ruaraka, Nairobi County. The Procurement Lead will manage and provide support to the company’s overall supply chain strategy including planning, scheduling, initiating and monitoring of all procurement/ purchasing activities in order to maximize company efficiency and performance.

The main duties and responsibilities for this position entails: –

  •  Managing and overseeing day to day operations, execution, monitoring of all regular purchases and procurement activities.
  •  Improving performance efficiency through constant supply of required goods/ materials.
  •  Monitoring stock levels, identifying purchasing needs and conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
  •  Risk management of suppliers to ensure they have the capacity to deliver in terms of quantity & quality required.
  •  Sourcing, researching potential vendors, selecting and negotiating for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
  •  Providing strategic forecasting when it comes to procurement to be done by the company.
  •  Preparation of procurement budget and cost control by constantly looking for best products at best prices.
  •  Coordinating with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of required materials/goods.
  •  Monitoring and coordinating deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered on time.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: –

  •  Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, purchasing or relevant qualification.
  •  Minimum of 7 (seven) years’ experience in a management position overseeing procurement/purchasing function in a manufacturing environment.
  •  Experience in using procurement/purchasing systems.
  •  Demonstrates strong leadership, managerial competencies, integrity & accountability.
  •  Good planning & communication skills.

Graphic Designer

 

We are looking to hire a Graphic Designer. This position will be based in Ruaraka, Nairobi County. The Graphic designer will be responsible for creating visual concepts that communicate information. He/ she shall use elements such as shapes, colors, typography, images and more to convey ideas as guided by the Company brand book through static and animated communication.

The main duties and responsibilities of this position entails: –

  •  Timely developing creative concepts for campaigns and Promotions in a creative manner that effectively communicates to customers and prospects for business growth of PFL brands.
  •  Adaptation of the approved concepts by the Marketing Manager for various communication channels such as Billboards, Social Media banners/Gifs, posters etc as per the brief.
  •  Ensure daily provision of assets for the Social Media Calendar, Quarterly billboard concepts and timely fresh concepts to keep the brand vibrant.
  •  Create visual assets for the website as and when required to keep the website up to date as per the brand book guidelines.
  •  Ensure branding and promotion assets such as signage, T-shirts, Hoodies, Mugs, bags etc are up-to date with the current brand manuals.
  •  Liaise with production suppliers to ensure quality materials are used and adherence to brand identity i.e logo, pantones, dimensions are adapted as per PFL brands’ manual.
  •  Take full responsibility of proof reading together with the marketing team to avoid design errors and typos on the artworks before posting or production.
  •  Take lead in Advising the Marketing Manager, head of Commercial & staff on strategies that will keep the business ahead of the curve through research, case studying and innovative proposals including but not limited to advanced digital trends, AI etc.
  •  Assist in events set up to ensure that the branding aspect is as per PFL brands Standards.
  •  Design internal communications, templates for presentations and newsletters.
  •  Responsible for all brand label design & packaging.
  •  Provide support in product photoshoots.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: –

  •  Strong language and communication skills, including proofing and editing.
  •  Self-starter with ability to monitor, organize, and manage multiple projects.
  •  Proficient knowledge of graphic software including the components of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and social media scheduling software such as Sendible.
  •  Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software.
  •  Strong ethical standards.
