Livestock Production Officer – 2 Posts

This is the entry and training grade into the Livestock Production Officers’ cadre. An officer at this level will be deployed at the sub-county or ward level and will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior Officer.

Duties and responsibilities will include

  • Providing technical advice in animal production, livestock marketing, range management, apiculture, and ranching and promoting economic livestock farming.
  •  Assisting in organizing extension activities including field days, field demonstrations, farmer field schools, and farm visits.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for diploma holders. Officers at this level will be deployed at the ward or sub-county level. Specific duties and responsibilities will include, assisting in organizing and executing livestock extension duties at this level. They can also be deployed as subject matter specialists in fields such as poultry, sheep & and goats, apiculture, and dairy production. The activities at this level will entail assisting in designing livestock enterprise plans and assisting in training sub-locational and Locational staff and farmers.

Deputy Director, Revenue

Duties and responsibilities

  • Collection and receiving all revenue payable to the County;
  • Accounting for all revenue collected;
  • Ensure enforcement of revenue collection;
  • Ensure realization of county revenue targets;
  • Ensure safe custody and proper management of all revenue accountable documents;
  • Advise on all matters relating to the administration and enforcement of the collection of County revenue;
