- Provide technical input for the effective and efficient management of VISION transactions processing for the office. Accurate and consistent interpretation and application of VISION/business procedures implemented to support the operational work of the office.
- Manage and lead the VISION Hub to ensure that the Hub carries out quality assurance of transactions at an adequate level and in a proactive, client-focused manner. Ensure all transactions are completed within an appropriate timeline, with relevant feedback provided to requesting sections/units. Review work distribution within the Hub to ensure effective functioning and continuously monitor SLAs of the Hub to remain efficient.
- Monitor functional Role Mapping/Table of Authority/Release strategy of KCO and manage APPROVA functions in coordination with sections. Review transaction flow and recommend improvements to SOPs for improved efficiency.
- Facilitate the conduct of HACT, VISION and other corporate tools training for Nairobi and Zonal Offices, Implementing Partners (IP) and Staff.
- Promote VISION Hub to be a Knowledge Lab for the KCO offices. Identify issues concerning transactions and develop and support training/orientation sessions/clinics to enhance knowledge and use of VISION and its tools.
- Review programme document budgets as part of the technical review team before submission to the Partnership Review Committee.
- Accountable for the preparation of weekly and ad hoc KPI reports as requested by management.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- A university degree in one of the following fields is required: finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or financial management.
- Membership – or enrollment for membership – in a recognized professional accountancy body would be an advantage.
- A minimum of one year of work experience focused on transaction processing and office management is required.
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English and knowledge of the local language.
