DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patrol and/or guard of access points in County buildings/facilities of deployment;
- Detention of unauthorized persons and vehicles in prohibited/or protected areas within county facilities or premises;
- Control crowds and collect information and report on matters of security interests;
- Enforcement of County Laws and National Legislation applicable within Counties;
- Carry out inspections to ensure revenue is collected as per the approved fees and charges in the Finance Act currently in use;
- Ensure adherence to the Kiambu County Enforcement Act, 2018;
- Submit daily reports of work done i.e. records of offenders booked, items impounded, court cases, booking daily occurrences e.t.c;
- Ensure adherence to Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
- Any other relevant duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to the job holder from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) – Minimum mean grade ‘D-’ or its equivalent qualification.
- Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
- Kenyan citizen.
- Current/valid appointment letter in the County Public Service.
- Fulfils the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Terms of Service: Contract
Salary: As set by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
