These are your responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
- Create engaging content, including graphics, captions, and posts, to increase our reach and impact.
- Monitor social media channels, engage with our audience, and respond to queries.
Website Content Creation:
- Assist in the development and editing of website posts.
- Ensure content aligns with our mission and voice.
- Research and stay informed on relevant topics and news related to eye health and Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs).
Representation
- Represent the team in both internal and external communications related meetings and provide feedback.
These are your qualifications
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate in a cross functional environment.
- Willingness to commit and adhere to CBM mandate, mission, vision and values.
