Our Background
Ecosystem Restoration Alliance of Kenya (KERA) is an official Actor of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration in Kenya, we lead in climate action and biodiversity restoration. KERA is also the Country Implementing Agency to the UN Decade AgriFood Challenge.
Our Mision is to protect and restore the local ecosystems across rural communities and urban areas across the country in order to recreate a balanced relationship with the ecosystems that sustains the people, planet and economy.
Our Vision is to nurture and position Kenya as an inspirational global ecosystem restoration leader of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and other related instruments.
Call for Interns:
We’re on the lookout for two awesome Social Media interns to join our virtual squad and help us make waves in the world of ecosystem restoration and climate change. At KERA, we believe that saving the planet can be just as fun as scrolling through your favorite memes. If you’re passionate about social media and ready to turn your skills into a force for good, here’s your chance! We are currently seeking social media interns who can commit to a dynamic 4-6 month internship, with the possibility of extension based on special arrangements, starting in January 2024.

This position is designated as a fully remote role, providing the flexibility for remote work as the primary mode of engagement. However, there may be occasional instances necessitating on-site presence, particularly in specific scenarios or during organized events. This approach aligns with our commitment to fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment, allowing team members to contribute from various locations while ensuring opportunities for in-person interactions when beneficial or required.
