ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek to fill the position of the Stock Accountant.
Who shall be responsible for ensuring proper management of Society’s land and housing inventory.
Maintain and update the stock records, responsible for conducting physical stock counts, perform regular stock reconciliations and overall monitoring of stock transactions.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for maintaining accurate stock listings.
- Timely update new land and housing stocks and repossessed ones.
- Lead the process of automation in stock accounting.
- Perform monthly stock reconciliations listings against system for all inventory and highlight variances to the management.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory policies and procedures.
- Support accurate and timely financial reporting through ensuring all stock data is updated correctly.
- Manage the monthly financial close process for stock.
- Ensure stock ledger entries are properly coded and classified.
- Assist the finance manager in other relevant tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Computer literate with hands on experience in use of Microsoft dynamics software.
- Good understanding of stock-related operational and control requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Person of high integrity and self-discipline.
- At least five years accounting experience in Real Estate Environment.
- Specific experience in stock accounting and management is mandatory.
- Bachelor degree in Business / Accounting / Finance or related field.
- Minimum CPA (K).
