Nova Biomedical is hiring a Part-Time International Clinical Trainer (locations: Romania, India Bulgaria, Kenya, Turkey or Sri Lanka) who will be responsible for providing both distributor and end-user customer training to support new customer installations/implementations, including device operations and maintenance. Device training includes system proper use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of the systems. This is a part-time designated contractor position, working on an agreed-scheduling basis, with variable workdays per month.
More specific responsibilities will include:
- Provide scheduled training and retraining programs for regional distributor sales & service staff on Nova clinical systems including operation, U/I, maintenance, troubleshooting.
- Assisting distributors (as needed) in support for key customer(s) scheduled operator training programs.
- Provide training with on-site key customer new installations.
- May also assist dealers and provide training for pre-sales blood gas demonstrations and simple evaluations.
- Serve as liaisons between Nova Biomedical’s Regional Support teams and local distributors and key customers.
- While onsite, act as customer advocates, providing feedback to local Nova distributor and Nova regional sales and support management.
Qualifications:
- AS or BS degree (or equivalents) in either Medical Technology, Clinical Lab-Science, Respiratory Therapy, or Bio-Med engineering is preferred. Other degrees will be considered with relevant clinical experience.
- Demonstrated high-quality performance in a clinical healthcare laboratory or POC testing setting for a minimum of 3 years.
- Previous experience as a field trainer is a bonus.
- Clinical laboratory knowledge and/or Point of Care experience.
- Understanding of hospital patient testing practices, fingerstick testing, and/or blood gas sample handling requirements is preferred.
- Requires a person with a flexible schedule to work and have a willingness and ability to travel on a part-time monthly schedule.
