Job Summary:
We are recruiting a meticulous and versatile Office Housekeeper and Hospitality Assistant on behalf of our client, a dynamic organization committed to providing a clean and welcoming workspace for their team members and visitors. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene throughout the office space, as well as providing hospitality services such as preparing beverages, snacks, and assisting with food orders. Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including workstations, meeting rooms, kitchens, and common areas, according to established standards and procedures.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, and polish woodwork and stainless steel surfaces as required.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and/or scrub floors as needed, paying special attention to high-traffic areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, hand soap, and coffee/tea supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and break areas as needed.
- Assist with setting up and organizing meeting rooms for scheduled events, including arranging chairs, tables, and AV equipment.
- Provide hospitality services including preparing and serving beverages (tea, coffee, water), snacks, and light meals to team members and visitors.
- Assist with food orders for meetings and events, including coordinating deliveries and setting up catering arrangements.
- Ensure that hospitality areas, including kitchens and break areas, are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality to team members and visitors, addressing their needs and requests promptly and courteously.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and practices, including proper handling and storage of food items and adherence to infection control protocols in office environments.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role, preferably in an office or hospitality setting.
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals suitable for office environments.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, occasional evenings, and weekends as needed.
