Summary:
Kumkang Kind is offering a 3-month internship in the position of Junior Formwork Designer for our Africa Office in Nairobi. She/he supports and reports to the Head of the Engineering Department.
Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Assisting in the design of Aluminum formwork using AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Preparing technical setting drawings.
- Providing support to site supervisors at Jobsites, including answering technical questions and providing on-site assistance.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
Minimum Requirements:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- A minimum Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Basic knowledge of building construction
- Experience Microsoft office
- Good communication skills
- Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
