    Job Description
    Ashoka DRC is seeking passionate volunteers to assist with fundraising efforts to support our key programs: the Venture, Fellowship, and Youth Program in the DRC. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to social change and make a significant impact in the community. Our primary goal of this project is to raise funds that will sustain and expand Ashoka DRC’s programs, enabling us to empower social entrepreneurs, support fellows, and engage youth in meaningful initiatives. Volunteer Tasks:

    • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with Ashoka DRC staff to develop effective fundraising strategies.
    • Identify Donors and Sponsors: Identify potential donors and sponsors who align with our mission.
    • Organise Fundraising Events: Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to engage the community and raise necessary funds.
    • Community Engagement: Actively engage with the community to raise awareness about Ashoka’s mission and the importance of our programs.
    • Prepare Fundraising Materials: Assist in creating compelling fundraising materials and presentations to attract potential donors.

    Language Requirements

    • English

    Desired Skills And Experience

    • Experience with fundraising, development and related fields
    • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for social change and community development.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
