The Salaries & Remuneration Commission (SRC) is a constitutional commission established under Article 230 of the Constitution of Kenya (2010). Its core mandate is to:

Vacant Positions – June 2025 Recruitment

The SRC is seeking qualified and competent professionals to fill the following positions:

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Principal Legal Officer (RL4)

• Role: Providing legal advisory services on remuneration policies, labor laws, and constitutional compliance.

• Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) + Postgraduate Diploma in Law.

  • 5+ years of experience in public sector legal practice.

  • Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

2. Senior Officer, Collective Bargaining Negotiations (RL5)

• Role: Leading wage negotiation processes with unions and public sector employers.

• Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Economics, or Industrial Relations.

  • 4+ years in labor relations or collective bargaining.

3. Senior Officer, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation (RL5)

• Role: Conducting salary surveys, wage analysis, and policy impact assessments.

• Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, Statistics, or Public Policy.

  • Experience in data-driven research & policy formulation.

4. Senior Officer, Job Evaluation & Salary Structures (RL5)

• Role: Developing grading systems & equitable pay structures.

• Requirements:

  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Hay System).

5. Supply Chain Management Officer (RL6)

• Role: Managing procurement, logistics, and asset disposal.

• Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business.

  • CIPS/KISM certification is an added advantage.

6. Accountant (RL6)

• Role: Financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll audits.

• Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance + CPA(K).

  • 3+ years in public sector accounting.
