ROLE PURPOSE

The Sales Intern will support the sales team by identifying potential clients, assisting in market research, and contributing to the execution of sales strategies. The role offers hands-on experience in business development, client relationship management, and sales operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in identifying and prospecting potential clients for business growth.
  • Conduct market research and gather insights to support sales strategies.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of sales proposals to potential customers.
  • Assist in following up on leads and tracking sales opportunities.
  • Help in responding to client inquiries and coordinating with internal teams for timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maintain customer relationships and provide after-sales support.
  • Support in the preparation of sales reports, tracking sales performance against targets.
  • Assist in ensuring product samples are delivered to clients and followed up on for feedback.
  • Work closely with the accounts and operations teams to facilitate order processing and fulfillment.
  • Learn and understand the companys product range and production processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior internship or experience in sales is an added advantage.
  • Completed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
