As a B2C African Sales Specialist at Nomad Africa you will take ownership of sales and client relationship management. Your primary focus will be on curating and selling bespoke travel experiences for mid market to high-end B2C clients, ensuring revenue growth and client retention. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and optimize client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sell bespoke safari and travel experiences for B2C market
- Hold Intake calls for clients & manage the booking through the whole sales process
- Work closely with the travel team to convert leads into sales and ensure revenue & commission targets are met.
- Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate data entry, client tracking, and sales pipeline management.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Attend networking events, and industry conferences to represent the company and drive brand awareness and sales.
- Document and report new market opportunities, including niche travel experiences.
- Identify sales gaps and opportunities.
- Provide in-depth destination knowledge and expert travel advice on African travel logistics, safari reserves/parks and camps.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a sales-driven travel or luxury sales environment.
- East African experience would be highly beneficial
- Excellent experience managing and driving sales performance with specific focus on sales targets and conversion, turnaround time and overall customer experience.
- Strong CRM management experience
- Experience in client-facing, service-oriented roles.
- Strong understanding of African travel logistics and luxury safari experiences.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Exceptional communicator in both written and verbal English.
- Stable employment history with a record of achieving sales targets.
