The Lead Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that will drive customer acquisition, increase brand recognition, and enhance overall business growth. This role involves B2B & B2C sales, market research, digital marketing, branding, lead generation, and customer relationship management.
You will be at the forefront of our growth journey, working closely with leadership to craft and implement strategies that will position SunPoynt as the go-to provider of water tank repair solutions across Kenya.
We need someone with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills who can work independently to develop business opportunities, generate leads, and close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Identify and target high-value clients, including corporates, businesses, institutions, and households.
- Build and manage a pipeline of sales leads, ensuring a steady conversion of prospects into paying customers.
- Conduct direct sales, cold calling, and relationship-building meetings with potential clients.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and present customized proposals and pitches to secure high-value contracts.
- Monitor KPIs, sales targets, and revenue goals, providing reports and recommendations for growth.
- Marketing, Branding & Awareness
- Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate brand awareness and inbound leads.
- Develop and implement a strong online presence strategy, including SEO, Google Ads, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Manage SunPoynt’s website, blog, and social media platforms, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message.
- Work with graphic designers and content creators to develop high-impact marketing materials.
- Plan and execute community engagement programs, networking events, and trade exhibitions to promote SunPoynt.
- Establish strategic partnerships with relevant businesses, influencers, and media platforms to enhance brand credibility and reach.
- Lead Generation & Customer Engagement
- Develop high-quality lead generation strategies, including referrals, partnerships, and targeted outreach.
- Optimize SunPoynt’s sales funnel to improve conversion rates and reduce customer drop-off.
- Manage customer inquiries through multiple channels (WhatsApp, live chat, email, and social media).
- Implement and manage a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track leads, conversions, and customer interactions.
- Ensure that all leads are engaged, nurtured, and converted into long-term customers.
- Market Research, Strategy & Innovation
- Conduct detailed market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve pricing, service offerings, and marketing campaigns.
- Continuously explore new business opportunities, industry partnerships, and market expansion strategies.
- Develop quarterly and annual sales & marketing reports for business assessment and decision-making.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing (Preferably in a service-based industry).
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Expertise in B2B & B2C sales and marketing, with a focus on service-based industries.
- Experience in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media, PPC advertising, and content marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, lead tracking, and data analytics.
- Ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (Preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience in the water, construction, or service industry is a strong advantage.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
- A highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
