Key Tasks:

  • Provide situational awareness for the security operations team.
  • Monitoring CCTV screen.
  • Identifying, investigating, and reporting security breaches or suspicious activities.
  • Regularly inspecting and performing maintenance checks on CCTV equipment.
  • Understand and enforce security and access control policies in a professional and personable manner.
  • Good interpersonal skills are necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and carry out directions.
  • Strong customer service skills. Must be able to work with customers and other visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Effective cooperation with team members to carry out assigned duties.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to document security incidents and other events clearly and succinctly.
  • Adheres to all health and safety SOPs of the company.
Requirements
  • Have experience in surveillance systems.
  • A keen eye for details.
  • Ability to remain focused during lengthy periods of observation.
  • Strong situational awareness • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • A team player with exceptional people handling and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to document security incidents and other events clearly and succinctly.
  • Extremely self-motivated, confident, creative, and disciplined with attention to detail.
  • Ability to cope with and handle stressful situations.
  • “O” Level (KCSE C-) • Certificate/Diploma in Security Studies.
  • Worked in a security company, preferably an ASSP or disciplined forces.
