About the job

  • Service/refurbish standby spares and equipment and ensure they are ready for utilization.
  • Spearhead critical preventive schedules as assigned on SAP.
  • Carry out corrective, preventive and breakdown maintenance and ensure 95% uptime.
  • Generate maintenance tasks and liaise with planner, engineers for execution.
  • Carry out improvements activities within the plant as directed by engineer.
  • Suggest for replacement of plant and recommend installation of new Equipment’s and modifications.
  • Liaise with engineers and stores to ensure optimal stock levels of spare parts.
  • Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • 2 years proven experience in the same role.
  • Great knowledge of the 5S foundation.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • Certificate of good conduct.
  • Basic computer literacy.
