About the job
- Service/refurbish standby spares and equipment and ensure they are ready for utilization.
- Spearhead critical preventive schedules as assigned on SAP.
- Carry out corrective, preventive and breakdown maintenance and ensure 95% uptime.
- Generate maintenance tasks and liaise with planner, engineers for execution.
- Carry out improvements activities within the plant as directed by engineer.
- Suggest for replacement of plant and recommend installation of new Equipment’s and modifications.
- Liaise with engineers and stores to ensure optimal stock levels of spare parts.
- Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 2 years proven experience in the same role.
- Great knowledge of the 5S foundation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Certificate of good conduct.
- Basic computer literacy.
