Non-negotiable Experience/Skill-set: Frequent (hardware) engagement with and complete understanding of the mechanics/utilization/specifications of Networking and Telephony products/equipment as showcased on our e-store, https://shopit.co.ke/ (Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Video Conferencing, Controllers, POE Injectors, Firewall, IP Phones, Two-way Radios, CCTV, Satellite phones, Telephone Adapters, VoIP Accessories etc.).
Role Responsibilities
- Consistent engagement with Networking and Telephony products/equipment in the market and as per customer requests/needs.
- Merchandising/Sourcing for Networking and Telephony products.
- Up-to-date on trends and market analysis on Networking and Telephony Products.
- Ensure effective merchandising and cataloging of Network and Telephony products.
- Offer technical, customer and sales, support in Networking and Telephony Products.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networks and Security, ICT, Networking Equipment, Telephony Equipment, or a related field.
- Preferably have experience in technical product(s) merchandising, technical customer service, and sales with Networking & Telephony Products.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and customer care skills
- Experience in the IT, Retail, or e-Business industry is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and proactively influence others.
- Passion/Interest in the hardware aspect of Networking & Telephony Products/equipment.
- Must have an in-depth understanding (hardware) of the specifications and utilization of a large range of Networking & Telephony products.
