The Affordable Housing Programme (AHP) is an intervention that will construct 200,000 homes for Kenyans by activating housing projects across the country. This, in turn, has generated the opportunity for engagement of young professionals in the built environment and related sectors.
Therefore, the State Department for Housing and Urban Development (SDHUD) is pleased to announce the recruitment drive of up to 10,000 university graduates in various Lots. This Lot 1 seeks to recruit 4000 interns. The interns will work under the supervision of professional consultants already engaged and contracted by SDHUD.

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to a graduate internship position, a candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in the above-outlined disciplines from a recognized university;
Duration of Internship
The duration is for twelve (12) months.
Remuneration
The interns will be remunerated by the terms governing internship as per the Public Service Commission.
Mentorship and Certification
Working under registered professionals, the interns will maintain work portfolios that will form part of the requirements leading to professional examination and registration. The interns will be issued with a certificate upon successful completion of the Internship Program.
