Roles and responsibilities

  • Achieving Zamara’s ambitious strategic priorities will be complex and challenging. Its continued success will be dependent on building and retaining a world-class team.
  • The Marketing Executive will be responsible for managing and supporting numerous strategic marketing initiatives for Zamara retail products.

In more detail, the areas of responsibility include:

Marketing Strategy, Research & Analytics

  • Conduct market research to better understand the marketing needs of Zamara Retail products and the target audience.
  • Develop and implement holistic marketing strategy.
  • Oversee customer experience, including but not limited to monitoring customer complaints and following through to ensure the issue has been resolved.
  • Building sustainable relationships and partnerships with other key players such as vendors, advertising agencies and creative artists as per the need.

Lead Generation

  • Managing all aspects of marketing funnel.
  • Pipeline management.

Digital Marketing & Advertising

  • Content management on digital channels; creating engaging and informative content for the website blog, social media and any other content marketing channels that the business might leverage.
  • Support the team to develop, plan and implement effective marketing calendar and campaigns.
  • Develop, implement and measure advertising spend.

Content, Communications & Events

  • Support the team to produce creative content for all marketing collateral and assist in editorial section.
  • Conceptualize, plan and organise key customer facing events.
  • Assist with the setup, facilitation and execution of internal and external events.
  • Liaise with vendors, exhibitors and stakeholders during events to ensure everything is in order.
  • Help in sourcing branded merchandise that will be used in different marketing initiatives.

Experience and personal qualities

The following experience is preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing.
  • Good knowledge of marketing and CRM Software
  • Good knowledge of Zamara retail solutions and products.
  • Business Acumen
  • Relationship building & networking skills.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
