The Opportunity
This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to lead Amna’s programs department and spearhead the expansion of their impactful mental health and psychosocial care initiatives. As the Head of Programmes, you will play a critical role in:
- Strategic Growth: Effectively scaling Amna’s programs into new international contexts while maintaining the high quality of their existing services.
- Team Leadership: Providing strong leadership and fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment within the Programs department, which includes Training, Partnerships, and Associate Training teams.
- Program Development: Led situational analyses to identify new program opportunities and spearhead the accreditation of Amna’s programs with a relevant academic institution.
- Ethical Implementation: Upholding Amna’s values throughout the program development and implementation process, ensuring alignment and coherence across all program activities.
Who We Are Looking For
- Seasoned Leader: An experienced and passionate leader with a proven track record of managing diverse teams and driving positive change in the humanitarian sector.
- Programmatic Expertise: Extensive experience in therapeutic program design, management, implementation, and evaluation, preferably within a humanitarian context.
- Strategic Thinker: A strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to translate vision into action.
