Projects Department
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in Project and Operations meetings to gain an in-depth understanding of the Organization’s operations and projects.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating Project and Operations meetings by writing and distributing minutes.
- Ensure weekly project status updates are received at the Projects meeting.
- Maintain an issue log of raised issues and action taken in Project and Operations meetings.
- Assist in drafting reports and proper record-keeping as envisaged in the ISO standards.
- Assist with any Project deliverables as advised by Manager Projects.
- Liaise with the Communications office by highlighting any newsworthy stories from the Department for the weekly newsletter.
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of activities within the Department as advised by the Manager Projects.
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned in support of the Projects Department.

Customer Service & Contact Centre Department – 3 Posts
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from users. The assistant listens, logs, and responds to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.
- Recognize, document, and inform the supervisor regarding trends in external customer calls.
- Anticipate potential needs or problems of customers.
- Follow through on commitments made to customers.
- Make recommendations of alternate solutions if customer expectations cannot be met and follow relevant escalation contact protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Achieve first contact resolution (FCR).
- Handle customer complaints or issues satisfactorily.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information.
- Manage the CEO’s calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, calls, and conferences.
- Perform clerical duties, take memos and organize documents; photocopy, etc. as needed.

- Respond to web correspondence and emails.

Duties and Responsibilities
The attaché shall report to the Corporation Secretary and Legal Affairs Manager and the duties will include.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts
- Drafting status reports on court matters affecting the Corporation.
- Researching and drafting legal opinions on the interpretation, impact and effect of the relevant laws and general conditions affecting various areas of the KenTrade’s operations.
- Compilation of legal documents for pre-trial conferencing
- Regular errands to public registries, courts and other relevant areas as directed.
- Facilitate preparations and attendance of witnesses.
- Receiving correspondence and facilitating timely dispatch of correspondence

Strategy, Compliance And Statistics Department
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in compiling reports on the status of the Strategic Plan implementation.
- Assist in collecting statistics, interpreting the data and preparing reports.
- The attaché will be expected to conduct research or assist in research work.
- The attaché may be called upon to monitor the implementation of various activities within the Agency.
- The attaché maybe be involved in assisting the department in maintaining the Quality Management System and as assisting during internal quality audits.

Duties and responsibilities
- Preparing vouchers and committal documents in accordance with laid down rules and regulations.
- Capturing primary data in manual and computerized records.
- Filing accounting documents.
- Preparing simple financial reports such as bank reconciliations and ondemand reports.

- Ensuring safe custody of accountable documents and

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responding to ICT helpdesk and user support queries via chat, email, or phone
- Ensuring proper logging, tracking, reporting and closure of all issues raised to the ICT helpdesk.
- Training other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing ICT related problems.
- Writing, editing, and revising training manuals for new and updated software and hardware.
