Logistics Intern
Logistics Intern will work closely with our logistics department to support the planning, coordination, and execution of transportation and distribution activities. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics operations within the waste management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of transportation routes for waste collection and disposal.
- Coordinate with drivers and external partners to ensure timely pickup and delivery of waste materials.
- Track and monitor the movement of waste trucks and containers to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist in inventory management and optimization of storage facilities.
- Support the logistics team in analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement in transportation efficiency.
- Participate in field visits to waste collection sites and disposal facilities to gain practical insights into logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Dip/Bachelor’s degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and waste management.
Autoelectric Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical inspection and accurate diagnosis of assigned vehicles/plants (Forklifts and wheel loaders) within the agreed timeline to define specific causes of failure
- Diagnose vehicle electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as alternators, starters, batteries, and wiring harnesses.
- Install aftermarket electrical accessories, including audio systems, security systems, and lighting upgrades.
- Perform electrical system upgrades and modifications to meet customer specifications.
- Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Comprehensively and accurately quantify the exact repairs that need to be done to bring the vehicle or plant back to operations
- Conduct vehicle and plant repairs thoroughly addressing the root causes of failure
- Conduct thorough periodical servicing of vehicles /plants and replace all components that need to be replaced
- Complete job cards and service cards accurately, comprehensively and neatly before starting vehicle / plant repairs
- Ensure the job cards are available, accessible and kept inside every vehicle during the entire time the vehicle / plant will be at the workshop
- Check off all repairs on the job card progressively to give real time status of the vehicles / plants under repair
- Store the assigned tools, equipment, spares safely. Do not leave them unattended when stepping away from the workshop
- Actively participate in keeping the workshop clean and well organized at all times. Ensure that vehicles / plants brought to the workshop are systematically parked and not at any available space
Qualifications
- Proven experience in repairing vehicles/plants in a busy workshop for at least 5 years.
- Excellent knowledge of truck systems, machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Ability, competence and certification to drive trucks up to 10 wheelers
- A diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering or related is preferred
- Knowledge and skills in vehicle/plant electrical systems will be an added advantage
- Valid driving license

Logistics Assistant- Distribution
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly bin liner, dabras and sacks demand projections in consideration of the existing clients, new clients and one off requests p
- Work with Procurement Team to raise the production order for the approved projections one month ahead of demand
- Work with Procurement Team to raise the purchase order for the approved projections one week ahead of demand
- Distribute the bin liners/dabras and sacks to all clients within the agreed timeline
- Reconcile the delivery notes with the amount dispatched to ensure that all intended clients have been served
- Maintain accurate and up to date inventory of bin liners, dabras and sacks
- Ensure traceability and accessibility of delivery notes for all deliveries for at least 6 months
- Assist the Logistics assistant scheduling to schedule trucks and other duties as assigned from time to time
- Ensure that the warehouse is well arranged and storage locations well labeled and adhered to
Qualifications
- A diploma in supply chain/ Logistics or any other related field from an accredited institution.
- 2 Years and above experience in Logistics.
- ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints, etc.
