- As a Social Media Content Creator Intern, you’ll play a vital role in developing engaging content that captures attention, grows our audience, and strengthens our brand presence on the platform. You’ll be mentored by our experienced marketing team and gain valuable hands-on experience in the exciting world of social media marketing.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm, develop, and create engaging videos on TikTok, Facebook & Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts among others with brand messaging and audience interests.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals and messaging, translating them into visual narratives.
- Research and stay up-to-date on current social trends, challenges, and hashtags.
- Execute end-to-end video production, including filming and editing, to deliver polished and high-quality content.
- Experiment with different video styles, techniques, and formats to keep content fresh and appealing to diverse audiences.
- Assist with caption writing, including relevant hashtags and CTAs (calls to action).
- Monitor and analyze video performance metrics and provide insights for future content creation.
- Strong visual and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail and an ability to capture attention quickly.
- Participate collaboratively in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for social media content across platforms.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities.
- A diploma/ bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- Passionate about social media, particularly content that resonates with 18-24 demographic.
- A good understanding of TikTok’s and Instagram’s platforms, trends, challenges, and its unique community culture.
- Excellent creativity and a keen eye for visually compelling content.
- Strong understanding of current social trends and challenges.
- Experience filming and editing short-form video content (a portfolio or examples are a plus).
- Good knowledge of video editing software like CapCut.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Bonus Points
- Experience with event promotion and content marketing.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and data interpretation.
- A desire to learn and grow within the social media marketing field
