Key Responsibilities
- Support in the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and strategies to optimize the procurement process.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Ensuring that all services and goods procured demonstrates value for money.
Qualification & Competencies Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supplies chain or any relevant field from a recognized University.
- Master’s degree will be added advantage.
- Over 3 years’ experience in the same capacity
- Membership of a professional body.
