FIELD SUPERVISORS & ENUMERATORS APPLICATION

Women Volunteers for Peace (WOVOP) is a dynamic, young women-led community-based organization in Kisumu County, Kenya. We are dedicated to supporting girls and young women at risk by promoting health, peace, and security education within the Lake Region Economic Bloc of Kenya, were planning to conduct a community health needs assessment data collection activity Kisumu west sub county, Kisumu County. This project aims to identify the specific health needs of community members, particularly women and children, and to analyze the data to inform decision-making and tailor interventions. In this regard Women volunteers for peace (WOVOP) intents to engage qualified and competent field supervisors, data enumerators personnels for a period of one week (1) in the month of April 2024 who meets the following requirements.

DATA ENUMERATORS (10)

 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY 

1. Conducting interviews with participants to collect data
2 Ensuring data accuracy completeness during data collection.
3. Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality protocols when collecting data.
4. Communicating with participants to build trust.
5. Time efficiently to meet data collection deadlines
6. Resolving any or concerns that arise during data collection period
7. Following data collection protocols and procedures accurately
8. Reporting any challenges or difficulties encountered during data collection to field supervisors.
9. Providing accurate and detailed information to participants about the purpose and objectives of the data collection process.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DATA ENUMERATORS 


1.Age 18-30
2.A Diploma from a recognized institution in health- related courses for data enumerators
3.Computer literate
4.Possess strong communication skills and attention to details.
5.Available for the entire training and data collection period.
6.Minimum 1 year working experience in health-related data collection role.
 FIELD SUPERVISORS (2)
 
ROLES AND REQUIREMENT FOR FIELD SUPERVISORS
 
1.  Planning and designing research projects including defining research objectives, methodologies, and data collection methods.
2.Training and mentoring research team, provide training, guidance, and support to field research team members.
3.Analyzing and interpreting data, findings, identifying patterns and trends, and drawing conclusions to contribute to the overall research outcomes.
4.Field research supervisors will be responsible for preparing research project reports.
REQUIREMENT FOR FIELD SUPERVISORS 
1.Age 18-30
2.A Degree from a recognized institution in health- related courses for data enumerators
3.Computer literate
4.Experienced in data analysis, management and coordinating field activities.
5.Possess strong communication skills and attention to details.
6.Available for the entire training and data collection period
7.Minimum two years’ experience in health research and data collection.
