JOB PURPOSE
To ensure cleanliness, hygiene for all equipment and environment in all food preparation, service, and storage areas.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all preparation/cooking/service area and equipment are well cleaned and sanitized before use.
- Ensure proper food storage and cleanliness in all the food stores and fridges.
- Prepare monthly breakages and damages report and submit to the supervisor/chef.
- Informing the supervisor/ chef of any items/detergents used in your section that are running out of stock to be re-ordered.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal.
- Draft monthly duty Rota with colleagues and present it the Chef.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS
- At least Certificate in hospitality.
- At least 1 year of experience in a busy hospitality organization.
