Terms of Service: Temporary Engagement (1-year contract, Non-renewable)
Salary Scale: Ksh. 24,884 p.m.
Leave Entitlement: 21 working days per financial year
(A) Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
- Preparing procurement plans and processing of purchase requisitions;
- Preparing procurement specifications and carrying out market surveys and research;
- Preparing periodic and annual supply chain management reports and returns;
- Processing of purchase orders and expenditures.
- Receiving and processing suppliers invoices for payment.

(B) Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supplies Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Contract Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of one year of working experience in a comparable position preferably in a Public Institution.
