JOB SUMMARY:
To carry out laundry services in accordance with Imara Hospital’s defined policies, procedures, standards and strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collection of dirty linens and sorting.
- Staking of stained linens.
- Cleaning of the linen and machine operations.
- Ironing of linens, dustcoats and patient’s uniforms.
- Issuing and refill of linen cabinets.
- Keep and maintain records of all the laundry room consumables.
- Clean, sanitize and maintain the laundry room in line with infection control standards.
- Transport linen to different sections within the hospital.
- Load and unload the machines during cycles.
- Fold laundry items manually in line with requirements.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control policies, procedures and best practise as per the hospital safety guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate Housekeeping and Laundry Operations or any related fields from a recognize Institution.
- 6 months attachement / Internship experience.
