The opportunity
Mizizi Partners is looking for a passionate highly resourceful and analytical professional to be part of the firm. As an Analyst you will support key assignments that entail research, client support and firm development, applying a broad range of skills, combining technical and analytical excellence to help achieve your piece of the overall firm’s goals and objectives. You will work directly with the advisory team. This is a six-month paid internship with possibility of fulltime employment.
Key responsibilities
- Support a variety of strategic client projects demonstrating and applying technical know-how and strong consultancy skills
- Assist in designing and facilitating different strategy and innovation programs.
- Conduct detailed industry and market assessments and perform basic and advanced data analysis on market data sets.
- Support the team with reporting, analysis, forecast and budgeting information.
- Assist in the creation of presentations and other materials.
- Research, write and edit responses to proposals and grants.
- Participate in select client facing and investor meetings to gain exposure to various practice areas and provide post meeting support and project follow-up.
Requirements
- Strong academic background in Business/Finance/Economics/Innovation/ Engineering… OR equivalent experience.
- Strong quantitative and financial modelling skills with proficiency in spreadsheets.
- Good business analytical skills.
- Comfortable to formulate your own opinion, backed up with arguments and confidence.
- Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Keen attention to details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
