Position Description
- mPharma is looking for a Cashier in its Retail Franchise division to manage customer transactions accurately and efficiently. This role is located at Mlolongo, Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Accept cash, credit, and debit payments and provide accurate change to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding areas.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, including answering questions and resolving customer concerns.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and returns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures to protect company assets and minimize loss.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 12 kgs.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of CPA 1, Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year experience in the same or similar role
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
- Must have the legal right to work in Kenya.
- Must live at or within Mlolongo.
