Key Responsibilities
- Compile and present financial reports, budgets, and reconcile financial statements
- Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist with company tax returns
- Offer guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization
- Monitor spending and budgets
- Assist with analyzing of financial performance
- Manage income and expenditure accounts
- Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis assessments
- Maintain and update the QuickBooks accounting software
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering or related fields.
- At least 3 years of proven work experience in the stated role
- CPA(K) certification is required
- Knowledge in financial engineering i.e. Financial projections and analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and good time management skills
- Enhanced numerical and quantitative skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Accounting software
- Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong reporting and research skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Strong computer skills in Excel and Word
- Knowledge in financial engineering i.e. Financial projections and analysis.
