Job Description
- Clean and tidy hotel rooms, ensuring they meet the established cleanliness standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other guest supplies.
- Ensure that adequate supplies are available in each room.
- Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department.
- Ensure that all appliances and amenities in the room are in working order.
- Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Address guest requests and concerns promptly.
- Organize and arrange furniture and amenities in an orderly manner.
- Pay attention to detail to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and hotel policies.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is often preferred.
- Certificate in Housekeeping Operations or its equivalent will be an added advatntage
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
