Our client is a luxurious destination for serious holidaymakers or business executives looking for ambient accommodation and service in an unmatched serene atmosphere. They are seeking a professional and talented professional Housekeeper able to attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Can be flexible, reliable, and accountable for tasks/Jobs given
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Notify supervisors of left items in the room
- Notify supervisors if the safe is locked
- Notify supervisors and reception if any items are missing
- Assess any amenities used by the quest and inform the reception immediately for payment
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace them when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
- Be responsible for efficient and orderly management of cleaning, servicing and repairing of guest rooms.
- Be responsible for hotel linen and check its movement and distribution to room attendants.
- Keep an inventory of all housekeeping supplies and check it regularly.
- Check and ensure that all guestrooms, public areas, and back of the house areas are clean and well maintained.
- Provide front office list of ready rooms for allotment to guests and DND rooms
- Report maintenance work on the floor
Requirements and skills
- Diploma in hospitality
- Proven 2 years’ experience as a Room Steward or Housekeeper
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well unsupervised.
