DEPARTMENT: Base Support Vehicles and Equipment PM SHOP
POSITION REPORT TO: Supervisor, PM Shop
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Responsible for all data entry for the NAVFAC Maximo system.
- Open and close all transportation activities SROs.
- Ensure all SROs’ status is updated.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates PCs using maximum capabilities under its Microsoft (Windows or DOS) direct operating systems. MAXIMO trained, able to work with less supervision, and uses independent decisions in matters of computer operations.
- Monitor vehicles and equipment maintenance activities and maintain equipment records.
- Monitors and check more than 800 Shop Repair Orders (SRO) monthly for proper documentation including work generation, description of work, materials, man-hours used, and repair cost.
- Prepares SROs per NAVFAC P-300 and P-307 for all work performed, entering in Block (2) of the SRO the appropriate Installation Management Accounting Project (IMAP) Cost Account Codes (CACs).
- Performs all shop accounting functions including completion of labor distribution cards, and reconciliation with timecards.
- Plans workload of vehicles and equipment per work centers.
- Establishes work methods, operating procedures, and controls to ensure completed work adheres to established standards.
- Maintains and updates more than 700 vehicles and equipment history jackets. Prepare monthly accident & abuse report and monthly tenant reimbursable (Navy) report.
- Provide the Transportation Manager with status reports such as downtimes status, labor and hours expenses against the standard, the productivity of the maintenance Repair Section, and performance against maintenance input and overhead standards.
- Inputs data on the fuel usage of vehicles and equipment daily, and prepare monthly MPG (Miles Per Gallon) report; shop repair order (SRO) for tracking maintenance man-hours, labor, and materials, civil engineering support equipment (CESE) allowance tracking, vehicle utilization, transportation equipment, and management summary (TEMES) quarterly report and annual feeder report, all of which are based and IAW NAVFAC Manual P 300, NAVCOMPT Manual, FACNAVFACENCGCOM instructions and other instructions concerning CASE/MIS.
- Prepare various reports as called for under the existing contract from monthly, quarterly to annual which are due to the Government. Prepare reports covering equipment maintenance and usage.
- Perform other special projects that need computerization. Serves as a reliever to Admin Assistant and PM Shop Supervisor in place of them.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned by PM Shop Supervisor, and Transportation Manager
BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge of NAVFAC Maximo system.
- Knowledge of automobile parts and labor references, and technology.
- Able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for government systems.
- Able to react to change productively and handle additional tasks as assigned.
- Ability to deal with customers professionally and courteously.
- Capability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
- Apply telephonic etiquette when working with customers.
- Inputting data accurately is a paramount responsibility.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Must speak, read, and understand the English language.
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.

EDUCATION:
- Must have at least a high school diploma is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have at least one (1) year of related experience in data processing and logistics, supply chain, business, or related to the fleet transportation field.
Basic terms of the job offer.
- Assignment Duration: 12 months. Renewal subject to performance.
- Base Monthly Salary: 48 hours per week minimum work requirement:Â $540.00Â (based on 48 hr. work week requirement)
- Working schedule: 48 hours per week (8 hours per day/6 days a week)
- Payroll period: Monthly. Amount give take home.
- Overtime: Work more than 8 hours per day or work performed on a rest day and/or holiday, will be paid as overtime at the base salary rate.
- Accommodations: Housing, transportation, meals in-country, and laundry facilities are provided
- Sick Leave: Employee will accrue 2.67 hours of sick leave for each full month of service, beginning with the completion of the first full month of Foreign Service employment.
- Annual leave Up to 21 days paid at the end of each 12-month contract.
- Travel will be provided by the employer to the employee’s home country.
