- We are in search of a proficient Research Analyst intern to enhance our data capabilities Gro. This role involves managing and analyzing extensive datasets critical to our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data analysis, ensuring the quality and integrity of our information. What You’ll Do:
- Keep abreast of new sources and related news
- Work on special projects and initiatives
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data about market fundamentals to forecast trends in agricultural commodities
- Work closely with product and engineering teams in the design and implementation of new features as well as solving technical obstacles related to data sources
- Collaborate with the business development team on client specific projects
- Write analytical insights on agriculture/sustainability/climate change – related topics
- Respond to user questions and requests
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ years of relevant data science / data analysis/research experience
- Familiarity with Python programming language and web application development
- Exceptional written, oral, and presentation abilities
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to perform and synthesize quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Comfort with working with large volumes of data
- Ability to work independently against tight deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members across functional roles and strong communication skills
Nice to Have but Not Required:
- Degree in a technical field including but not limited to Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science
- Experience / Interest in agriculture data or agriculture science
