Qualifications

· At least college Diploma in a relevant field.

· 2 years’ proven experience as inventory supervisor in LPG industry.

· Good command in spoken and written English and Kiswahili.

· Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory.

· Computer literacy.

Job role

STOCK

  • Daily Monitoring of inventory movement and reconciliation by performing opening and closing stock.
  • Ensure variances are cleared on time to allow timely operations.
  • Daily stock checking and reporting to avoid stock out.
  • Daily stock take for empty cylinders, filled cylinders, market cylinder returns and accessories.
  • Ensure Proper Stock control and housekeeping of the container.
  • Ensure timely opening and closing of container.

LOADERS

  • Planning of Loaders duty rooster including day to day activities and leave days schedules.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting – loaders employee relation matters and general discipline.
  • Reviewing and processing loaders overtime if any.

DAILY OPERATIONS

  • Overseeing all staffs adherence to standard operating procedures whilst at the container which includes DSA, Loaders and Security and raise any non-conformities to the respective Head of Department.
  • Ensure all staff report on time and return on time as per company policies. Report any cases of non-conformity in real-time to the relevant HoD.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the container and the container surrounding area.
  • Control movement of fuel cards in out and safe keeping when not being used for refueling.
  • Reporting any security breaches in real time relating to the DSAs/ Loaders/Stock/Assets.
  • Report if the DSA is not following daily procedures and operational activities.
  • Check the delivery asset before and after its market trip to ensure road worthiness, general sate and that no accidents have occurred during the day or loss of any accessories.
  • Conduct a weekly audit of the asset to ensure all accessories are in place and the asset’s general state is acceptable and no abnormalities sighted.
  • Conduct a weekly audit of the container focusing on premises, cleanliness, asset and stock related matters.
  • Reporting any concerns regarding DSAs/Security/Loaders/Replenishment Staff with regards to operations/etiquette/responsibilities if not being adhered to.
  • Cylinder handling; To ensure cylinder good handling procedures are followed by all staff including replenishment drivers, loaders and DSA.
  • Ensure cylinders are correctly stacked as per HSE policy by the DSA and loaders at all times. To report any incidents or cases of non-conformity.
  • Any other duty as will be assigned to you by section head.
