Responsibilities
- Field Marketing: Coordinate and execute multiple field marketing activities per week, ranging from small product demonstrations at Boda stages to joint marketing events with our partners.
- Lead Capture and Customer Relationship Management: Achieve targets for new rider leads generated from marketing activities, accurately capturing relevant rider information in our CRM system.
- Customer Outreach: Support outbound customer communication by following up by phone and text with rider leads.
- Showroom Administration: Between marketing activities, support in-person sales at our showroom and assist with admin tasks as needed.
Required Skills And Experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili. The ability to articulate ideas clearly, adapt communication styles for different audiences, and listen actively is essential.
- Understanding of basic field marketing activities and the ability to maintain consistent and accurate communication to potential customers.
- Flexibility to travel and work all across Nairobi, with priorities changing daily.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse and dynamic environment. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Post-Secondary Diploma or equivalent education
- Full-time, in-person availability within Nairobi, Kenya
Bonus Skills And Experience
- Experience driving a motorcycle and a valid driver’s license
- Work experience, especially in ground-level marketing or sales activities.
- Experience in event management, including planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events such as product launches, demo days, and photo ops.
- Experience or knowledge of electric vehicles
- Photography, photo editing, or graphic design experience
- Educational background or professional training in sales, marketing, or a related field.
