Sohn and Sol Technologies Limited, a client-centric company based in Nairobi, is seeking an experienced Web Designer and Developer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a hybrid work model, with the flexibility of working remotely but may require occasional visits to clients premises for scheduled trainings or website reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain modern, accessible websites primarily on WordPress using Elementor and related plugins, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Implement and optimize SEO strategies, utilizing tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to enhance website visibility and traffic.
- Collaborate closely with our clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and deliver tailor-made web solutions that connect them with their target audience.
- Prepare comprehensive training guides to empower clients to manage and update their websites independently.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with clients and team members, ensuring all project requirements are met timely and to the highest standard.
- Stay updated with the latest web design and development trends, technologies, and industry standards to improve our offerings continually and ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in web design and development, specifically with WordPress, Elementor, and related plugins.
- Proficient in SEO and familiar with tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other website visitor tracking software.
- Exceptional soft skills, including strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working on word editors like Google Docs to prepare training and documentation materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to visit clients’ premises for scheduled trainings or website reviews as needed.
