Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with key vendors including Kenya Ports Authority, Shipping lines, and Kenya Revenue Authority.
  • Process invoices accurately, ensuring proper coding and approval.
  • Execute timely and accurate payments to vendors and monitor payment deadlines.
  • Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in financial reporting related to accounts payable activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain organized records and support audit processes.
  • Address and resolve payment-related inquiries and issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service in interactions with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle inquiries and build positive relationships.
