Krones AG is a German packaging and bottling machine manufacturer. It produces lines for filling beverages in plastic and glass bottles or beverage cans. Krones LCS Center East Africa, located in Nairobi/Kenya, is a subsidiary of Krones AG and is the support base and training center for all Krones’ customers in East Africa.
The Front office administrator contributes to the organizational goals by being the first point of contact for the company and offering administrative support across the organization thus ensuring that the office runs smoothly and that all administration and controlling procedures are adhered to as well as followed up. A proactive person, whose skills contribute to the efficient, systematic, and profitable operation of the whole office.
Your tasks
- Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Support with internal communication.
- Ensure the customer relation center is stocked.
- General Office maintenance (Ensures that all office repairs that do not require CAPEX approval have been done) escalate to management when necessary and follow-up with contractors to ensure they have permits to work,
- Handle overall office administrative matters such as ensuring availability of office supplies (ie. Stationary), coordinating drop-off of office documents to various government offices and other key institutions where necessary.
- Preparing meeting rooms for any scheduled meetings by ensuring the rooms are clean and snacks have been prepared.
- Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Dispatching mail accordingly.
- Creating presentations as and when required
- Ensures the office has stock of office supplies, stationary, Kitchen supplies.
- Ensures office is cleaned as per the cleaning schedule.
Your profile
- Diploma in Business Administration/ Business Management/Front Office management/Customer service
- At least 1 years’ experience as an office administrator, front office representative or marketing representative in a fast-paced business environment
- Eloquent in English (Written and oral)
- Friendly attitude
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Highly organized and flexible
- Ability to multitask.
- Resourceful and Proactive
- Excellent administrative skills
- Proven experience in Customer service
- Computer Literacy- Proficient in: MS Office -Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
