About Us:
The Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) is a statutory body, mandated by the Engineers Act, 2011. Our role encompasses the registration of engineers and engineering firms, setting standards, and overseeing the practice of engineering services.
Internship Program Overview:
EBK presents the Graduate Engineers Internship Program (GEIP), a comprehensive 36-month internship initiative designed for registered graduate engineers. This program is structured to equip participants with practical skills under the mentorship of professional engineers registered by the Board.
Qualifications for Internship:
Seeking candidates meeting the following criteria:
- Registered graduate engineer by EBK within the last 2 years
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- Available for the entire duration of the internship
- Not currently employed elsewhere

- Employment Guarantee: Completion of the Internship Program does not guarantee employment.
- No Fees Charged: EBK does not charge any fee for this application process.
- Shortlisting and Additional Information: Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. If shortlisted, further documentation will be required.
- Required Additional Information: Personal accident and medical insurance cover, Certificate of Good Conduct, clearance from EACC, KRA PIN Certificate.
- Anti-Canvassing Policy: Any form of canvassing will result in disqualification.
