Qualifications
- A university degree in Accounting or equivalent educational qualification
- At least two years audit experience
- Understanding of gas station operations is preferred
- Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory.
- Computer literacy.
Job Role
- Reporting on operations to senior management
- Resolving issues to ensure operations continue 24/7
- Carrying out daily reconciliation of sales with all payment receipts
- Identifying trends in sales and variances in order to improve business and systems.
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of stocks in the tanks against received stocks and pump sales
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly performance reports for management review
- Analyzing of daily stock variances for management review
- Query audit findings and closing or escalating any audit queries
- Daily auditing of petty cash handling by each station against approved expenditure and receipts as evidence of expenditure
- Managing SAP tasks related to the stations
- Carrying-out impromptu operational checks at the gas stations and ensuring that they are all in compliance with the laid down company policies and procedures
