The Institute of Internal Auditors Kenya is affiliated with the Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. with its headquarters in USA Florida.
Job Overview: The role of the accountant will be to support the management team by reporting on financial performance, building and tracking budgeting performance and forecasting, updating, and tracking of the institute’s financial KPI performance reporting and overseeing the provision of any other financial analysis and performance insight required for sound decision making including credit management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Academic, Professional qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field from a reputable institution of
learning
- CPA (K) is a MUST
- At least 5 years’ experience as an Accountant preferably in the Professional services industry
- MS office Applications with excellent excel
- Familiar with analytical
- QuickBooks Desktop and online working experience will be an added
Skills:
- Excellent IT skills and prior use and knowledge of QuickBooks System
- Excellent Cost accounting knowledge
- Financial accounting and reporting
- Ability to work as a team player
- Excellent analytical & numerical skills
- Strong attention to
- Good oral and written interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet
