The Stock audit assistant’s overall responsibility is to act as an internal control on stocks in the warehouse/showroom. He/she goes through various stock takes done by managers in the warehouse/showroom and scrutinizes them for variances and does their reconciliations. Also does random stock takes to verify accuracy of managers stock take reports.
Responsibilities and duties:
· Checking stock barcodes.
· Liaising with manager to check for any damages and missing items.
· Conduct monthly stock-takes at various branches.
· Reconcile stock take reports to ensure the variance reports are accurate.
· Conduct random accuracy checks on the showroom variance reports of different branches.
· Share with management the stock-take reports.
· Perform any other duties as may be required from time to time.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
· Education background in Accounting/ Procurement.
· Attention to detail.
· Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
· Prior use of SAP application is an added advantage.
· Good communication skills and attention to detail.
· At least 1 year experience working in a busy environment.
