Role objective:
To support and enhance the organization’s IT capabilities, focusing on systems development, ERP customization, installation, rollout, training, and other key IT functions.
Responsibilities
1. Systems Development
- Assist in developing and enhancing internal software systems based on organizational needs.
- Collaborate with the IT team to create and test software prototypes.
- Document system designs and ensure code quality through review processes and adherence to best practices.
2. ERP Customization
- Provide support in customizing the organization’s select ERP software to better align with business requirements with a bias to HR Processes
- Work alongside senior IT staff to ensure effective integration of customized modules with existing systems.
3. Installation, rollout and Training
- Support the installation of new software and hardware systems.
- Train staff members on the usage of new software tools and systems, ensuring efficient adoption across departments.
4. Support of Internal Systems
- Respond to IT support requests from staff members and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Regularly update and maintain system documentation to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and system maintenance.
5. Organizational Website Support
- Collaborate with the web development team to enhance, maintain, and update the organization’s website.
- Address and troubleshoot website issues in a timely manner.
6. Continuous Learning and Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest IT trends and innovations relevant to the organization’s goals.
- Proactively suggest improvements and enhancements based on emerging technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited university with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and web development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in a variety of programming languages and tools (Examples: Python, Java, .NET,SQL, etc.).
