Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Manager in the execution and measurement of seasonal multi-channel marketing plans and campaigns. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in our marketing team, contributing to various aspects of marketing, graphic design, content creation, and digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist the Marketing Manager with the delivery and measurement of seasonal multi-channel marketing plans and campaign
- Graphic design skills
- To produce internal and external promotional materials such as menus, brochures, online artwork and social media graphics.
- To work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver the annual social media strategy across a wide range of platforms including Facebook, Linked In and Instagram.
- To keep the online blogs of both hotels up to date with the latest news, offers and seasonal content.
- Creative content writing within the brand tone of voice, with an awareness of SEO techniques to improve the overall effectiveness of new content added to the websites.
- To design, send and track e-newsletters
- To work with our digital agency to assist the Marketing Manager in the delivery of our digital strategy across PPC, SEO, content marketing and e-newsletters.
- To assist the Marketing Manager in working with our digital agency to implement website developments.
- To liaise with Head of Departments across both hotels to ascertain their marketing requirements and fulfill their requests once agreed by the Marketing Manager.
- To assist with photo shoots and video projects completed at both hotels.
- To liaise with external marketing agencies when required to assist with projects.
- To undertake regular research into new marketing or revenue techniques and technology as guided by the Marketing Manager.
- To undertake basic marketing tasks such as proof-reading, updating menus within a template, inputting information and day to day printing of internal marketing materials.
- To attend marketing meetings with internal departments and external clients when appropriate.
- To carry out all other duties reasonably requested by the Marketing Manager
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field is a strong advantage
- 4 – 6 year Proven experience as a marketing assistant
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
